Melissa Huckaby: What Kind of Woman?

When we hear the results of Melissa Huckaby's interview regarding the horrible murder of Cantu, we're are probably going to learn this woman is very ill.  It wouldn't surprise if she committed this murder for some psychotic reason - destroying the devil, saving the child from the devil, called by God to do it, etc. 

Casey Anthony, Susan Smith kill their children because their life is all about them and the kids are in their way.  For a woman to kill someone else's child is unusual.  The one thing I'd like to know about is the disposal of the body.  Was she trying to hide th evidence which would indicate guilt associated with the act.

I wonder if Melissa Huckaby had her daughter involved in some way.  Had her invite the child over, etc.  I'll bet her own daughter is connected somehow.

We'll wait and see what happens with this one.

that's true. But you also mention Casey Anthony, what can you tell us about the deposition that her parents went trough? I'm talking about faces and gestures and a lot of anger showing off.

Shortly prior to Sandra Cantu's murder, Huckaby's name was already being investigated for yet another neighbor's 7-year old daughter who Huckaby took to a park and returned the girl to her parents at 2:00 a.m....the little girl was drugged out of her little mind.

The parents did call police and the file was in early stages of investigations when Cantu's case hit the fan.

There's a thrum in the community that Huckaby is claiming Cantu's death was an accident and she "staged" the rape to distract the police from her.

The PD is functioning on a gag order but people in and around the case, from hospital workers on . . . have been posting info online in comment sections which now a week later the PD is saying also as info is confirmed.

Early comment after Cantu was found stated Huckaby's cell phone and keys were found in the suitcase also. It remains to be seen if that is true. Last week hospital worker's friend posted "she swallowed razor blades" and last night, the PD revealed the same.

So many times during interviews of "Persons of Interest" I hear there is no way she/he is capable of doing such a act! So how interesting was it, as an arson investigator, when I read in my local Orange County Register newspaper, that Huckaby had actually been/is a "Person Of Interest" in two arson fires prior to this murder. All humans are capable of any act, but most are stable enough not to act on their impulses! Just a thought. It will be interesting to hear what else comes from her background.
